VWD Connect Foundation works to improve the quality of life and find a cure for those living with severe Von Willebrand Disease (VWD). Patients with severe VWD live lives of isolation, unpredictability, and pain.
Founded by Jeannette Cesta, who, along with her children, has a form of Von Willebrand Disease, the VWD Foundation is a perfect example of a grassroots organization. As the organization grew, it needed a clearer, more compelling way to talk about its work.

Although the concept of connection is embedded in the organization’s name, with their new Focus & Messaging Framework, they now have the language to explain exactly how and why.
The words are important, but so is how they are presented. To bring them to life for potential funding sources, we created a pitch deck and tweaked their visual identity in the process.
