Massachusetts Children's Alliance

The Massachusetts Children’s Alliance drives the innovative work that is helping abused children get the best care possible. They do that by promoting interventions that work, delivering effective educational programming, and moving communities toward meaningful systemic and societal change.

Our ongoing relationship with them brings us great joy!

Project Overview

Like most of our engagements, our relationship with the Massachusetts Children’s Alliance (MACA) started with building the foundation of their messaging framework. We use that framework to inform all our work with them.

Brand Imagery and Website

Once the Focus & Messaging Framework was in place, we helped MACA update their visual identity. That started with their approach to imagery. Our focus was to highlight the innocence child should experience as a way to contrast that with the experiences MACA’s member organizations support.

Annual Mailers

End-of-giving is incredibly important for all not-for-profits, and that is certainly true for MACA. By creating a streamlined holiday card/annual appeal mailer, we found a cost-effective way to help MACA engage their supporters.

Annual Report

After successfully navigating the pandemic and all its challenges, MACA has new stories to tell. What better way to do that than through their first-ever digital annual report? We used the medium to share not just their financials—but specific examples of how they approach supporting their members and address issues like the sexual exploitation of children and problematic sexual behavior in children.
